Bridging the gap between clients & construction
With over 15 years of experience in residential renovation, JLC Interior Design serves as the steady link between homeowners and the construction process.
Renovation is complex. Decisions carry financial weight, timelines shift, and small misalignments can cause costly ripple effects. Our role is to bring thoughtful planning and clear communication to every phase — transforming ideas into construction-ready plans that align vision, scope, and investment.
We specialize in layout reconfiguration and comprehensive interior planning, ensuring that what is imagined can be built — and built well.
Throughout the process, we guide decisions with clarity and care, collaborating closely with contractors while keeping homeowners informed and confident.
The result is more than a finished space. It’s a home that feels aligned with your life — and brings lasting joy in the everyday moments that matter most.

Jessica Cook
I didn't grow up dreaming of becoming an interior designer — mostly because it never occurred to me that it was a career option. Design was something you "had an eye for," not something you made a living at. My grandmother's response when I declared my major was, "That's nice, Jessie — but what will you DO?"
My mom would tell you pursuing design was no surprise. As a six-year-old, she'd give me a busy box filled with a random assortment of things — toilet paper rolls, strawberry cartons, cotton balls, and whatever else — and I'd build something with them. One time I came back with a better mousetrap. She's an accountant and never quite understood why I couldn't leave a perfectly good design alone. I still can't.
That instinct is at the heart of everything I do at JLC. I look at a home and see what it could be — how a layout could work harder, how a space could support daily life better, how hundreds of small decisions could add up to something that feels like it was always meant to be that way.
That's what gets me up in the morning. And it's why I love this work.
Passion & Perspective
FOUNDATION
As the only girl in my high school to enroll in every woodworking class available, I learned early that good design has to be buildable. That hands-on foundation shaped everything — I don't just imagine spaces, I understand how they come together.
STEWARDSHIP
I believe we are stewards of our homes — responsible for investing in them thoughtfully and preserving them for the people who come after us.
PARTNERSHIP
"Teamwork makes the dream work!" Renovation is a team sport — and I thrive when clients, the contractor, and I are all pulling in the same direction.
